Rain is more tolerable than snow. But if the snow translates to me not having work, I can tolerate that.

Those of you still at work. Map out a way home avoiding all highways. You will thank me later. My plan from Aero Dr to El Cajon will be to take friars/mission gorge all the way to Santee and than Cuyamaca to El Cajon.

Oh ICK!

Thanks for the heads-up. The real-time traffic map is already significantly red, and it's not even "rush hour" yet.

I don't have to take any highways to get home tonight, but unfortunately I rode my scooter to work and wasn't expecting the road to be wet. Well, the forecast didn't show it, even though it rained hard yesterday.

I was at the gym just off of Mission Center Road right around 3:30 this afternoon, running on the treadmill and watching the cars on the freeway go past. Next thing I know, bam, there a car spinning around that ends up facing the wrong way and another with a crunched up bumper, traffic was just plain stopped. Ain't be driving on the freeways this evening.

Well as a matter of pride I suited and rode my scooter home in the dark in a downpour. When I lived in Cleveland, of you didn't ride in the rain, you didn't ride much at all.
