Wow Mississippi is right on par with us RE: dryness. Go figure...

OMG! I didn't realise how dry SD can get, despite being on the coast. Struth! It is 65% humidity where I am in Australia right now and we don't consider that humid weather at all.
When I visit Canberra in the ACT, Australia, the humidity is around mid 30s and i can't cope with the dryness.
I'll just have to adapt when we move to SD. I'll have to invest in a more nourishing facial moisturiser as well. Keep those wrinkles at bay.

Yes you do! If I forgot to put on lotion even once my elbows and knuckles turn grey. Although SD is practically
tropical compared to Arizona.

Having recently moved from the Gulf Coast of Texas, I have NO complaints! Yeah, I use a bit more moisturizer ...but dry is Vegas....where I would have a bloody nose and split lips all the time!

Last time I was in California it was the San Diego area in January. I had a dry, sandy feeling throat for a while.
But then I had come from South Florida humidity, so I guess it takes a little while to adapt.

Not to worry, it's only bone dry during certain weather conditions we have called Santa Anas. Most of the time the humidity and dewpoints are quite comfortable.
