Barrio Logan has changed quit a bit since this thread was created. It's definitely gotten safer over the years with new restaurants and breweries. Just hope it can keep its lowrider vibe.

First off, I know white Mexicans. Second, I've been hanging out in Barrio Logan since the early 70's. It isn't white people that need to be concerned. The bottom line is, mind you business and always admire the babies....you'll be fine.

Oh yes. I always smile and wave at the babies when I there. It is just another way to get along. And the folks appreciate it more than most. I don't know why, but they do. I think it is a cultural thing.
