I know San Diego is near the Mexican border so Mexicans will obviously be predominate in the area, but I love Spanish food (Cuban, Dominican, Puerto Rican, etc) so I was curious if there's any areas where there a lot of that set of Spanish folks. Not only for the food and women but I like their culture as well lol

Andres is a local Cuban / Puerto Rican restaurant located across from Mission Bay. Here's their website: Welcome to Andres Restaurant

Ask the owner or staff if they know of any Spanish neighborhoods.

It is also a tiny mercado, right next to the restaurant. We go there often for supplies to make Colombian food.

There are a few Salvadoran restaurants in City Heights, as well as a Colombian one. Pampas and La Boca are both Argentinian. I've been to a Peruvian place in Clairemont, but for some reason there are more Peruvian places in North County. Andre's was ok, but I wish we had more choices for Cuban. I recently sampled Brazillian (Portuguese, I know) food at a local farmer's market that was delicious.

Well, no, Brazilian is Brazilian. Portuguese influenced, perhaps, but not Portuguese.

I think there is a Brazilian Restaurant across the street from Horton Plaza on 4th Ave, called Rei do Gado? I ate there many years ago, and thought it was very good; the vegetables were more memorable than the meat, but that was during a period I thought I wanted to become a Vegetarian. Also, since it's Brazilian, I guess Portguguese is more appropriate that Spanish.

Man, some of you are way too smart for me (And I love it!). Serves me right for trying to be too specific. Title says Spanish and with Portuguese being spoken in Brazil......Blah, blah, blah.
