Where do all the twenty-something professional intellectuals live with a vibrant party and cultural scene?

I am still trying to figure out what is a effing "professional".

Does a professional mean:
College educated
Grad School
JD/MD/CPA
or you merely wear a collared shirt to work, still have that suit that you bought for your sister's wedding and intend to wear it on your first night out in the Gaslamp.

Speak for yourself. I ain't wealthy and I've never set foot in a Walmart, nor will I.

No, you have to screw it up and call it the Gaslight.

If you want to get technical, the Department of Labor has a definition of professional for purposes of being exempt from the FLSA.

My spouse and I make $120,000 between us where we live now. We are both very good looking. I'm sure will both find something in 2-3 months for the same pay. We really want 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and we can pay up to 1100 a month. Do you think 2 months savings is enough? In case I didn't mention, we are good looking. Want a large yard for the Dobermans. Will settle for 2 bedrooms of we have to. As long as its close to the beach.

I find you incredibly modest.

And I suppose you will get a "good looking" discount, just flash the secret sign and you are in like flynn.

I have five pitbulls, three dobermans and seven cats. I want a two bedroom house within a block of the beach, and it has to have a large yard for the dogs. I have $3,000 in savings, will be looking for a high paying job of any kind, and can pay up to $500 a month for rent.

That $3,000 is your cushion . . . for the first week.

love this thread.

I think the most recent thread that irked me was the "Santa Barbara vs. San Diego" one. Seriously? San Diego has 1.3 million people and Santa Barbara has 88,000 (the population of Mira Mesa).

I'm glad you did your research, newcomer.

stupid.

Born and raised in SD, I never once ever heard someone asking about "good" school districts in San Diego lmao. I miss living in a NON-White flight city.
