This was a Press Release his office had sent regarding the 'First 100 days'. Its an impressive 6 pages in length and includes some notable accomplishments such as: removing a lightpole, giving Mexicans warm jackets, officially announcing the Chargers are not going to LA (nor any other team for that matter) and helping a homeless person move into her apartment.

Busy guy, busy job.

"Removed the last above-ground utility pole in the Bay Ho neighborhood
during the final stage of the utility line undergrounding project, as an
example of putting neighborhoods first."

BS. We still have lots of above-ground utility poles in Bay Ho.

Just put in an emergency measure for the poor Seals. You go boy! How sadistic, that one Seal had to move like 10 feet.

Seems a reasonable list including his reasoned bullying of Goldsmith.
Hopefully, he can move on to a couple positive, city-growing, bigger-picture initiatives now that these tangible ones are under his belt.

So many photo ops, so little time. That Hotel dealio can wait. Pinks slips are normal this time of year.

Not commenting on his other issues in office, but the Chargers' Mark Fabiani was unusually positive about their discussions with Mayor Filner's office about new stadium proposals on XX1090 yesterday afternoon. He flat out said things with Filner's office have been much more positive than relations with Sanders' office. Scott Kaplan attempted to crush Filner by stating that any deal involving him would lead to price controls on ticket prices and beers, which Fabiani laughed off and reiterated that the Mayor's office has been receptive and helpful in discussions of a new stadium/expanded convention center plan.

This morning on the drive to work the LA news station KNX had a piece on this and referred to him as "Frisky Filner", I had never heard that one before, made me LOL literally.

I guess that is what the news stations outside of SD called him. Toronto had the "Crack Mayor" and we had "Frisky Filner."
