If you were doing hard drugs you would get outed and tossed out. Steroids were something in College not HS.

Yep. It's a different world now. I remember when I was a kid. I went to a private school and I remember the principal slapping me over and over one time for a prank I pulled. We aren't talking about serious stuff here. All I did was remove all the names of the teachers above their door and switched all of them.

I remember complaining to my parents and they laughed and said I deserved it (which looking back I did). These days you have something like that and the principal would not only get fired but get arrested and put in jail most likely.

I disagree with the "you can't fire anyone" comment because lots of teachers get fired for lots of different things. But I agree with your general point.

Yep. Many things are different now.

But then I see things like this with 31 kids getting suspended. It sounds like many of the kids didn't even know where the video would end up. Oh well....just goes to show you if you agree to be on video expect it will go on YouTube.

Just saw this from 10news. Talk about 21 Jumpstreet....

"The deputies trained for two months, posing as transfer students on the campuses of Poway, Ramona, Mission Hills and Abraxas high schools."

"The undercover deputy said drug use seemed much higher than when she attended high school about a decade ago, but did say she met a lot of kids who had their heads on straight.
She said she feels school security has gotten much better."
