I support strongly those who serve.
I don't support the government blindly (esp. the GOP and treasonous tea party).
I don't see how it was the best post of the year, so I or more likely you need help.

Sounds like some definite fun happening in San Diego and some good ideas for places to visit!

Here's what I did in WI over Memorial day weekend:

Friday - Got slammed with last minute projects and worked late.
Saturday - Visited over-priced ghetto country petting zoo in 50-degree overcast weather. Then had a fabulous food/time with the in-laws.
Sunday - Rained all day. Church in the morning and friends over for dinner in the afternoon/evening.
Monday - Rained all day. Stayed inside and started packing up the house for our move.

We made some good memories despite the weather. And we needed to start packing, so the rain helped us be productive. Fun to go through my sweet vintage video game collection in the basement (which I never have time to play), and packed it all up. Hard to resist playing them all day!

Friday: Dog beach, lunch at Fathom Bistro, dinner at a friend's, and fancy beer with my brother (who was visiting from out of town) at Blind Lady. Had originally planned on a full moon hike up Cowles Mtn but I don't see my brother too often

Saturday: Yoga, an 8-mile hike, then a housewarming/holiday BBQ at a friend's.

Sunday: Breakfast with a friend, then rode my bike down to Fathom and had lunch with another friend, rode around the harbor and downtown, then stopped at a couple breweries on my ride home.

Monday: Went to a corgi meetup and watched a passel of cute dogs do cute things, then dog beach, lunch with friends, and then I stayed home and chilled out the rest of the afternoon.

Pretty much a normal weekend for me, honestly, only difference being there was one extra day off work to be outside and enjoy my town!
