Hello everyone.

I had a question for you fellow local or long time Residents of SD.

I had just moved here a few months ago, and it's my girlfriend's 22nd birthday tomorrow.
I was wondering if you guys can recommend me some good restaurants here in SD for a birthday dinner.
I prefer it not to be really elegant/fancy as we are both 22 years old.
Was thinking maybe something by the water/beach, or anything you guys think would be a good choice.

Thanks.

Just not seafood, since she is allergic.

Price wise, about 75-100$ or less for two if that helps.

Not sure what area of town you're looking for, but Pacific Coast Grill in Cardiff by the Sea (Encinitas) is fun for all ages. Right on the water (go for sunset) and in your price range, as long as you don't order a ton of cocktails. haha

Thanks guys. I'm in East Chula Vista, but don't want to go past Del Mar if that helps.

+1 for Crazy Burger, except it's not near water/beach.

Just looking at Google (so check its reviews first), Buster's Beach House in Seaport Village looks like it might be fun. And they have stuff besides seafood. On second thought, maybe not. Only 2.5 stars on yelp.
