Very nice, thanks for sharing Shelby!

I read that article and its actually really nice to see Brooklyn up there.

True story, I got to meet the Brewmaster Garrett Oliver in Boston when the brewery was a step above running a garage brewery. He was doing an event at a pretty popular BBQ joint there called Redbones. Super cool guy and it was really when the micro brew thing was starting to take off in New England since Sam Adams blew up.

It was still to this day, some of the best lager I have had. My roommate at the time worked for distributor and from that taste test signed him up and was one of the first to get him distributed out there in Beantown

This was ~15 years ago so its really nice to see them winning these awards etc.

As far as Stone goes, they are equally as impressive if not more. IPAs were really these thin, hoppy/aquired taste kind of beers. Stone IMHO, really changed the landscape for this kind of brew and created a standard that had complexity and body. Glad to see that its getting the recognition it deserves.

Actually was at the SD International Beer Festival at the SD Fair last weekend. It was great! I am still blown away at how many local micros we have in the area. Little Napa for beer is definitely the way we are heading, thats for sure.

Thanks an awesome story Shmoov. It's really great to see this industry take off. I'm not a beer enthusiast but still love seeing everything going on in the industry.

Interesting that Delaware ranked 2nd place. I have a friend from Delaware that is a physician and was surprised recently when he told me he was starting a microbrewery. Gotta love that...
