This is nothing but a political stunt under the influence of Charles LiMandri.

He really should be doing his JOB, which would include sending me and others a letter saying our lowered assessments are now null and void.

Did you feel the same way about African-American protestors? How about a woman's right to vote?

Those questions are rhetorical. I've already got your number,

The clerk of San Diego is entitled to his personal viewpoint just like any one. He must however (duh) follow the law. The fact that he refuses indicates to just about everyone who is not hospitalized for a mental infirmity that he has blurred the line. Many people do. See it as an educational project for him, rather than react. Typically the harder the come the harder they fall.....

Actually it does sound like he just wanted clarification as his office continued to issue licenses. Sounds ok?

And what if there had been a public vote on school integration, the right for women to vote, hold office or serve in the military, interracial marriage or slavery? Don't you think all of those would have lost back in the day? Basic human rights should never be voted on.
