Another way of assessing whether an area is 'dangerous' is to notice how many vulnerable people are out and about - people such as elderly or unaccompanied young children.

El Cajon should be a lot safer now that they finally put that homeless tweaker girl in prison that was going around stabbing everyone. Literally like 20+ people, but only like 4 were reported.

Obviously the dangerous parts don't add up enough to even tweak the attention of most of us who live here- which is a mighty good thing.
Best food is always in the 'hood lmao

San Diego hoods look like paradise compared to other cities but we have a lot of mentally ill people many vets on the street that may give you an issue in areas like Hillcrest north Park Logan and downtown is where you may have the best chance of getting into it but keep walking. Most are just talking and no threat but who knows as far as murder it's hard to be much safer than San Diego for a big city. El cajon same mainly drugs but I've never been to a neighborhood in America that I thought no way. Most people in rougher areas don't commit crimes and never have crime happen to them
