cause I work from home and it's THAT kind of Friday...

Just wondering if there's a place I can work and start happy hour at the same time...

or just a good place to do some work, I'm getting more famliar with Carlsbad and Encinitas but am also wondering about places in San Diego proper. I feel like getting out...

Not sure about liquor but I know that Tiger!Tiger! and Blind Lady Alehouse both have wifi and all the fancy beer you can drink. They both start getting busy around 6 or 7 but if you're thinking earlier than that, you're golden.

Check out Young Hickory since it's close to both Tiger! Tiger! and Blind Lady . It's a coffeehouse that also serves canned beer. Open till midnight everyday.

really? ok, well the kind of place you would actually want to hang out with your laptop? I don't really want a bar specifically, more like a cafe that serves liquor/wine/beer as well as coffee and food. Those are fewer and far between usually but bars are good too.

I think that is my target.... wine places and bars that are slow during the day with a good atmosphere would also be good.

I have to admit, I first read the thread thinking you were looking for a liquor store that had wifi lol

Yeah tons of places downtown like Jenkay and sdurbanite mentioned

Glad you found your outlet in the wine bottle @ home
