I've been living in Alpine for 5 years in the same apartment and I like Alpine overall but my complex turned into a section 8 dump after the housing crisis. Today my car got towed because my right rear tire was touching a red painted fire lane spot and the new management company is refusing to replace the 8 year old dishwasher. I'm done with this crap. But the problem is my wife and I have a 55 lb Boxer and a shih tzu. The Shih Tzu is 14 lbs so he is no issue but apparently here in California many complexes seem to have boxers in the same category as pit bulls and refuse to allow them. I'm assuming its insurance related so It seems I'm screwed. Does anybody know of any apartment complex in east county that is nice, no section 8, and allow my boxer? I work way out in the mountains in east county so the closer east the better. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm at the end of my rope with this crap.
