Hi All,

I have a daughter and both I and my wife work full time. We are exhausted looking after my daughter and have no energy to clean the house.

Please let me know your experience having your house professionally cleaned. Is it every two weeks or monthly? How much do you pay? What do I have to watchout for? And finally, do you have anyone good to recommend to me? I live in the Mira Mesa/Sorrento Valley area.

Thanks,

I don't have anyone to recommend who works in your area, but I pay $80 for 7:30- 1pm. I get a cleaner every two weeks. I don't use a professional service, just a local lady who was referred to me. It has been said to me that many cleaners don't work by the hour, but by the job. They leave when the house is clean. My place doesn't take long to do, so I like my cleaner to do different duties each time she visits. One visit it might be the windows, another visit she might help me do some washing or change the bed linen (in addition to her regular dust, vacuum and mop).

Good luck!
