Oh, haven't you heard? She subsequently bought a house ONE MILE away from the couple she victimized!

Right leave them out so they can keep doing it.

No, put them in a mental health treatment program where they can get help for their illness, instead of prison where they just sit and get no help while doing their time.

The purpose of incarceration is to punish, not teach, heal, rehabilitate, or what have you. Don't want to be locked up? Then don't do the crime. Need help? As an adult, that's your job and your responsibility to be proactive on.

Seriously? So we should just lock violent people away for their 3 year sentence and do nothing to help rehabilitate them so they don't reoffend when released?

Do you know how high our reincarceration rate is? An only punitive system is not working.

Funny that we have not heard a word from IRMSD on this topic. She certainly posted on all things CV.

Put them in prison for the crime and then in a mental hospital for help. Note she got neither, so she did not need mental help. Stupid and arrogant is not a psychiatric problem.

No, but I remember she said she could not afford to buy there which is why she rented an apartment so that her kids could get into the schools, so I don't think this lady is the same as our old friend since she kept trying to outbid the other buyers offering almost 950K.

But it does show you how far certain folks will reach when they become so obsessed with living in areas like these and Poway just because of the good schools. They do crazy things like the lady in this new story or forgo buying a home like our old friend and will instead rent in a high priced area so that their kids can attend the best public schools. The latter seems noble in a way since she put her kids above all, but for me personally seems irrational to give up home ownership and a larger space for the family.

...but, everyone has different priorities in life.
