Hello all.

In Colorado we have recolorado.com which rules, up to date basically as fast as MLS sites but accessible for all.

Does California have anything like that?

Thanks guys. I started out on redfin, looked at the house, drove out to look, reached out to a realtor only to find it had sold two months ago...so redfin def. isn't the ticket.

Don't know anything about the other two so I'll give them a shot. Thanks to all.

RECOLORADO I'm getting the feeling is a one-off. the update daily from real MLS guides. I think I'd have to get a real estate license to access anything close to that in CA.

I'd love to be wrong.

That's strange about redfin and definitely hasn't been my experience with them. They are usually up to the minute

I second sdlookup. Redfin works differently from region to region. At least here in SD redfin is on the ball with their property refreshes, but only more recently.

I agree with GMUAlum that isn't the norm. When I was looking to buy here several years ago, I used a combination of Zillow, Redfin and SDLookup and Redfin was typically updated. Remember that Redfin data is typically fresh as they ARE brokers. If anything I noticed Zillow data could be off. I believe SDLookup is also owned by a real estate broker so their information was always up to date as well. I liked different things about different sites.

But still even with the official MLS listings there are tons of mistakes. I'm developing some real estate software now and I'm seeing several mistakes with MLS data. Several properties that are listed as having 0 bedrooms. Lots of human error and lazy realtors not reporting it right away.
