Hi,

We are a young couple in mid 20's looking for a property in San Diego.
With Mira Mesa being at an optimum distance from our workplace, we are interested to buy properties in North of Mira Mesa.
From our house hunt, we came across this property in Casa Blanca in Galvin Street, built in 2000.
Can someone please comment about the neighborhood and the pros and cons of this area.

Thanks !

We don't live there, but we often drive past there. It looks like a pretty nice neighborhood - well cared for. The most interesting thing I have noticed is that on Persian New Years there'a a big turnout at the local park. So I suspect there's a sizeable group of Iranian/Persian people living near there. The advantage to that might be that it would be something more than a white-bread, boring, suburban-ish area.

Just west of there, between Westview Parkway and I-15, there's a mega-complex being built. I don't know what effect, if any, there will be on the place you're looking at. I'm guessing at least there will be greatly increased traffic. That's the closest I can think of that might be a 'con'.

Maybe because you're in your mid-20's the place might be a bit boring for you. Or not. I don't know what your preferred lifestyle is.

On both sides of Mira Mesa, between Black Mountain Road and I-15, there are shopping malls. Within walking distance of the place you're looking at. There's a large grocery market (Albertson's) and a good-size drugstore (Long's), along with a lot of other types of places.
