I am looking for a large used car dealer in Chula Vista. Hopefully one that has a huge number of cars to choose from. Might there be such a dealership?

I am looking for something like a Honda Civic or Honda Fit. 1,500 - 1,800 cc. 2002 - 2008.

There's a CarMax on Balboa Ave in Kearny Mesa. CarMax is a high-volume used car dealer with 100s of cars on the lot at any time.

CarMax has no-haggle pricing and a 5 day money-back guarantee.

Anyone have any idea how much used car dealers inflate prices with the ultimate idea of giving people a discount?

Just tell them how much you can spend, and that's it. I have a friend who traded in her 2000 Saturn with a lot of problems, and ended up with a Toyota, and that's what she did. She claims they gave her $1000 for the Saturn.

You're going to have to do your Home work on that.
Google the dealerships I gave and view their prices. Then go to either edmounds.com or craigslist and see what the same car is going for in the private market. if you're dealing with cash expect some discount 10% off of the price. If you're going to finance the car and you are a foreigner, it's going to be tough to negotiate a lower price.
