Hi, I am in my late 20's and have been a Realtor in CT for the last 5 years, the income here is great but I am getting tired of the same old scenery. I am wondering if there are any Realtors that have moved from other cities to SD, how is the market, are you busy, was the transition hard, did you have to find another job?

Realtors have a difficult job. It is highly competitive in Southern California. Part of the package they bring to the table is experience with an area. I can only speak for myself, but I cannot imagine working with a realtor who doesn't know the area I'm interested in, backwards and forwards. A friend here in OC expressed interest in getting a listing in Carlsbad. Consider this: I told her its far away and she will lacking experience in the area. She works 35 minutes from Carlsbad. Experience in an area matters. Just my thoughts.
