I am a 19 yr old male and I am looking to move to san diego in early april with 3 buddies. I have no clue about the area and am really not sure where to even start searching for a place. I love to party and go to the beaches. I am mostly moving to san diego just to have some fun for a year or two and meet some new people and girls. Any advice on where to look?

Pacific Beach. Don't think I need to go on about PB other than it has everything you're looking for.

Pacific Beach is definitely the place !!!

Lots of young people. It's a party atmosphere.

Good surfing too.

If the PB apartments are too expensive, check Clairemont, which is very close to PB.

Given your age, I have to go with PB, too. But otherwise I have to vote for Clairemont. Hubby and I love it here....laid back and very friendly. We have lived in this area of San Diego for 9 months now and are much happier than we ever imagined we could be. We live in a cool neighborhood and we are close to EVERYTHING. Centrally located is an understatement. :-)

Thanks guys, Do you think that pacific beach would be a better place for me than mission beach? Also, do you think it would be hard to go out there and find a job relatively quick? I would take any job to start, waiter, construction, busboy
