I Am A Hispanic Home Owner In Poway For More Than 18 Years.
You Are Stereo-typing By Saying That Most Of The Low Income Areas Are Mostly Hispanic Residents. Most Of The People Who Live In Trailer Parks In Poway Are White. From The Way You "ramble" And Express Yourself I'm Assuming You Are White.
I Am A Very Highly Educated Hispanic Who Makes A Very High Income. I Know Many Residents Of Poway, Their Ethnic Background Is Hispanic. Most Of These People Own Very Nice Homes And By No Means Are They Low Income.

Please Refrain Froim Such Negative Comments About Other Ethnic Groups.

I'll vouch for that.... the scariest people in the lower income areas of Poway are white.

But....it's a stretch and almost comical to say any area of Poway is 'bad'.

Poway has some of the most exclusives hoods in San Diego, so don't expect a bargain. However, even in some of the older, less attractive areas you can still find a decent home.

Personally, I like Rancho Bernardo better.....Rancho Bernardo, Poway and Carmel Mtn Ranch all feel like one big community - you'll be happy living in any of these areas. Rancho PQ isn't bad, but I like it less than the other areas. Another gem here in North County is a place called 'San Diego Country Estates' in Ramona. Sweet area on big 1/4 acre min lots. A bit more of a drive, but an excellent area to live as well. The folks that run the school district there are all from the Poway School system, so that disctrict is good and getting better as we speak.
