Five to ten degrees, depending where along I-15 you are. I live in PQ which benefits from the sea breeze that comes down the canyon; Mira Mesa is the next neighborhood south of PQ and is typically hotter than PQ.

Wow, that's a good difference in such a short distance.

PQ is at the east end of an east-west canyon, so we generally get a good breeze that cools us down noticeably. Mission Valley has the same benefit. Mira Mesa, not so much.

I did not know that! Thanks for the info. I haven't really spent a lot of time in Mira Mesa.

Then I'd replace Mira Mesa in my comments with Rancho Bernardo. I do spend time there since I work there, and it's typically warmer in RB than in PQ.

Yep. look at the houses on Calle Cristobal. they share the same Lopez Canyon as Carmel Valley and Park Village in PQ. they're just on the other side of the canyon. there are also houses in southwest Mira mesa along the rattle snake canyon that also get canyon breezes that comes from the ocean as well. the key point is, you have to look at houses on the west aide of Mira mesa along the canyons.

I meant to say Los Penasquitos instead of Lopez canyon.

The Hair Salon business here in San Diego is very cut throat. Please know that going in, Booth rentals are pretty high out here and Salons have a problem keeping the booths rented out.
