I was referring to the bags of Terro granules, which aren't carried at the Home Depot stores I've been too. However, Terro liquid and traps are carried in Target and Home Depot, whereas Lowes and Walmart don't have them.

I'd rather order the bag of granules and pick it up at the store of my choice, rather than wasting gas running around to look for it. Right now there are no ants inside at all, and very few outside. The management company that I rent from has a contract with pest control service, and they spray outside. They'll also treat the inside, but you have to let the property manager know, and he'll schedule an appointment.

Well I guess I am just a jerk, then. Carry on.

Ah ok...sorry.

ShelbyGirl1's husband bought a bag of granules, and wants another bag, so she was going to tell me where he bought it. But she lives in Fallbrook and I live in the city, so my response was that's too far to go, and I meant the bag of granules, not the liquid.

I have a new bottle of liquid in reserve, in case they reappear.

Well, I was still trying to be helpful. Can't you just order online for home delivery?

Home delivery for most places have a shipping charge, and it would be around $5 more. It's easier to order and pick it up when it comes in.

I had an ant problem all summer. After reading these Terro posts, I decided to get a small bottle for inside and a packet of small, plastic containers for outside. I plunked a container next to a large ant cluster near an exterior wall and put a couple drops on tabs, one in the kitchen and one in an upstairs bath. After three days, there are no ants. I'm a believer!

Yep, it really works. Now get a bag of granules to sprinkle around the outside perimeter.

The perimeter of my place gets a fair amount of water from the sprinklers. That's why I went with the small, plastic containers that protect the liquid. If not for the water factor, I'd go with granules.

will any of these methods work to kill ants that are living on plants?

I have a beautiful tree aloe that ants have started to damage and I need to clear them out asap without damaging the tree. Will the terro work for this?
