Yes, we will do that next time out there. My son dislocated his knee a few weeks ago, so we couldn't do as much as we normally would.

Is it far from the tower?

I finally stopped by this place after driving past it for years. What a crazy place. And you are right, the owner is very nice and strange at the same time. Did you hike around the boulders nearby and see the painted rocks? Desert View Tower is right up there with Cadillac Ranch and the largest ball of twine LOL

We didn't hike around because my son is in a leg immobilizer right now. We are definitely going back for more exploration.
