I don't see it where I live. In escondido the gang members wear the black socks/shorts/button-up shirt combos as a uniform.

Pulled up socks was a cholo / punker / hesh thing in the 80's, got co-opted by some of the skaters in the 90's, now is mainstream bro attire. I travel all over the country regularly and you really only see it on the west coast. You don't see bros in the southeast or upper midwest at all. However, almost everywhere else has Juggalos, so I'd rather have pulled up socks than druggie gangster clown thugs.
