It looked like less than 1000 when I went by there. It wouldn't have filled a section much the less the stadium. To make matters worse some of these people weren't the ones they should have been interviewing. Any excuse for a tailgate party I guess.

This is what I read, but who knows really:

John Kentera of The Mighty 1090 AM radio talked with citizens’ stadium advisory group chairman Adam Day, who said according to security at Qualcomm Stadium, 2-3,000 fans attended the rally and public forum Monday evening.

sorry...I think I was listening to 1090 this morning around 6:30-7 am and they reported 100 people so I assumed that was accurate. Maybe they meant 100 people actually spoke? Either way, unfortunately, I don't believe what the fans think will have any effect on the decisions that will be made.

Maybe 2000 total over the course of a few hours but I've seen more people at the swap meet at one time.

A lot of these people were really drunk.

Haha, glad to hear that taxpayers are represented by a bunch of drunks!

Chargers should leave. I'm tired of paying for a bunch of losers. They would be a nice addition to the "things in LA that suck" list.

Yahoo’s Charles Robinson reported Tuesday that the Cowboys, Cardinals, Chargers, Colts, and Buccaneers are on Peterson’s list of preferred destinations...

Interesting list, would it help our cause if we got a super star like Adrian Peterson (I know it's a long shot but looks like he wants a warm weather location).

The Chargers have the 4th most wins in the NFL the last 11 seasons, but that's neither here nor there.

What do they have to show for it? One MVP and one trip to the AFC title game. Not impressed. In all honesty, we should have won the super bowl already (or at least been in it).

As you hinted, the 11 season record do not matter. The games are poorly attended, so why should taxpayers have to pay for a failing entertainment business?

And that is a big reason why the Chargers might move. They have not been bad for years like the Jaguars or Browns or Raiders and still people aren't exactly attending the games or supporting their team. People like to pretend that San Diego is this or that, but the reality is, if the Chargers were as bad as the Raiders over the past decade, there might only be 10 people at the games.
