Hey everyone,

I have been looking at places to live in San Diego, and would love some input on commute times to a workplace in Sorrento Valley/Mira Mesa Blvd area. My schedule would most likely be 8 to 5 or similar.

Univ. Heights/North Park? Is about 35 minutes right, or is it a much longer commute than that?
How about from Hillcrest, Clairemont, La Jolla Village, and the Garnet Ave/I-5 area in Bay Ho/PB?

Thanks for any and all replies!

The problem with the 5 is the train. You'd be screwed if you happen to get there when the train is going by. In general, 35-45 minutes would be about how long it takes to get from those areas (except for La Jolla Village) to Sorrento Valley/MM Blvd. One other factor is how long it takes you to get onto the freeway.
