This might be a silly question, but I've been wondering...do you get a lot of critters in your backyard such as snakes and such in North County? Being from the E. Coast, we're not so used to that. Thanks!

Absolutely, here in Fallbrook, a variety of different type of snakes...including Rattlers. Coyotes, opposeum, raccoons, Bobcats, rabbits, all kinds of birds and raptors.
I am also from the East Coast, NJ. I saw many of the same animals in our backyard. What I don't see here, is a picture of a bear in my friend's backyard in South Jersey, she sent me yesterday. I feel I'm the luckier

Some actual sightings of black bears once in a while. Usually migrating along the mt ridge shared with Laguna. Crazy to see one in Kearny Mesa

Default Carlsbad/Encinitas

Hmm, not sure where Fallbrook is. Do you have the same issues with snakes/animals closer to the coast?

Fallbrook is North County about 16 miles inland. Yes, we have friends who live along the coast and see the same wildlife we do.
