Looked at houses in this area. Some nice houses, but proximity to Gold street is a bit of a concern (there was some nice crime scene tape up...) Wife says area is ok as her parents live in Douglas Crossing part of Arrow wood, but I can't shake the feeling of being in east Escondido... They have nice houses there too but right by the hood. Rather isolated and one must traverse the hood to get anywhere.

Crime mapper shows a bit of stuff, mostly car break ins or so. Does the riff raff generally stay in their area or is WR / AW the feeding area for burglaries, etc? Is this area a write off?

thx

Advantages: The area has very large lots and prices are low considering what one gets. It is commutable to either SD or OC.
Disadvantages: It is close to the back gate and some low income areas. It is also a bit inland and thus gets hot. Note too there is Mello Roos.

There is gang activity in the area, but I think it isn't nearly as bad as it once was. The school district for that community is Fallbrook's, which some say is better.
