It was the getting more house for your money idea. I know we're renting at the moment and I have plans in the future to buy but I have since taken everyone's advice and decided not to make the commute. Thanks again!

Like others have said, bad idea. Find the nicest rental in your budget.

You just gained about 15 hours a week to do other things / enjoy life.
