That is not bad at all The food sounded good too. Did you have any dolphin pods following you? I think my husband & son would really enjoy this trip!

You can book online or call the landing.

That's a big whitefish in with those yellows. How big was the BF? Were there any YF mixed in? I heard there were. We are about ready to splash the Grady if the BF stay above the line in US water.

I'm not doing the passport fmm visa thing every trip to fish Mex water.

Nice post. Glad to see someone advocating the sport fishing fleet here in San Diego. Sounds like a good trip. The fishing is only going to get better as the year progresses. There are also lots of alternatives for people on shorter and less expensive trips as well. I have a 2 day trip booked with some friends from work in the last week of July. The cost is 500 and will end up being about 650 with food and tips. The food is usually first rate....not foodie type of stuff but usually good dinners with steak and fresh catch and burgers and burritos for lunch and breakfast. I also go on a few 3/4 day trips that run about 125 each. Other than that, I don't have my own boat so I look for co-workers and friends with boats and split the gas and bait costs with them.

I grilled up some yellowtail last night with a little olive oil and Montreal steak seasoning, it was fantastic. Similar to sword fish.

Here's a link to their website, it looks like they're pretty booked for the year already. Most of them are probably the same groups of guys that go every year.

Depending on how much fishing your husband and son have done, I wouldn't go for longer than a three day trip.
