Also, make sure and check any addresses that you're interested in with the www.bedbugregistry.com. This will eliminate any future problems.

With all of your wants and needs, it may be better if you stay where you are. That way you're guaranteed to get what you want without any problems.
I can't. I am sure there are better parts of San Diego where I can get everything I need. There is nothing wrong with going after what you want and I will make sure I get it. I always have .

Also, paper checks are not friendly to the environment. they must be banned. And the additional postage for the bank to mail them to you? what a waste of resources.

Also, auto pay is so much more convenient and easy. why wouldn't they set that up? Well.. I will just have to reject any rental property that refuses to do so. It actually makes life simpler. Now I can narrow down the list to just a few. Nice!

OMG. These are real? I thought they were fictional like those bizarre creatures in science fiction. Scary! How is this possible? I am lost. I have to google this to check the authenticity and if they actually exist. This is crazy!

Yes, they do exist. You must have been living a very sheltered life.

You need to face reality, because there are things out here in the big, bad world that you're not going to like, but you may have to do them. Example: Like paying rent with a check, and like I said, not everyone is on auto pay, or wants auto pay.

I think you should just stay where you are, and not consider moving.

I am moving. LOl. It's impossible to convince me once I make up my mind.

I have moved cross country many times and lived in several cities and also abroad. So, it's not new. No.. I don't lead a sheltered life. But thanks for the suggestion.

Then you're going to have to learn to be not as picky with a place to live. You may have to give some of the things up that you want to find a place to your liking.

I agree. Compromise may be necessary and if it comes down to it, I will compromise. But I want to explore all options including hidden options and reach out to the land lords. I am even willing to prepare some brochures to help them learn the technology. I will have my assistant working on it.

A landlord will look at you like you're crazy, if you suggest something like that. There's no shortage of applicants here in San Diego, so you might want to rethink that decision. Is your "assistant" coming with you to help find what you want? Just stick the large management companies, because an independent landlord won't even talk to you about it, he'll just go to the next qualified applicant that does what he requests.

If you are a light sleeper and concerned about Airport noise I would scratch Point Loma off your list.

Thanks for the heads up.

And I would think the landlord is crazy if they don't offer auto pay. Who cares what any one "thinks"? People will judge no matter what. I could care less. They can very well go the next qualified applicant. Their loss. I would place less emphasis on the word "applicant" as it pertains to housing search. It's not like I am applying for my dream job and would be terribly upset if I don't get it. I already have a dream job. It's housing. Worst case scenario I will stay in a hotel for a few weeks until I find what I want.
