I see them sitting around in large groups even when there are throngs of tourists walking by. They charge an arm and a leg so I don't see the business model sticking around for too much longer. Maybe I'm wrong.

I see them by the Convention Center, the Marina area, and that general area. It's rare that I see one without passengers, though. Don't forget that the MLB game and convention will be coming up, along with Comic Con, and they'll be doing pretty well, passenger wise.
