Has any College team played all away games before because of no home stadium?

Not really the question to ask...would they be a better choice than BYU, Houston or say Cincinnati

Not sure that's a good question.

Houston No!
BYU & Cincinnati
I really do think so!
BYU likes being an independent and Cincinnati is well, Cincinnati. Most of the kids that grow up playing High School football in Cincinnati Strive to play football at Ohio State.
Just like most kids growing up in SD strive to play football for UCLA, USC. But that's slowly starting change as Rocky Long the last couple of years has gotten some pretty highly recruits to stay home in San Diego

If the boltz leave and mission valley gets rebuilt into a park.

Boise also has Major Bowl victories (Fiesta) and a better track record for football the past couple decades.

Although SDSU soundly defeated Cincinnati last December- I'd be willing to bet they would take UC who actually puts more players in the NFL than Houston, SDSU, BYU.

Let's talk about Cincinnati being Cincinnati. Not saying there isn't great HS football in Southern California, but there is really good football in Ohio (some of the best in the country in the Cleveland area), Indiana, Illinois. Arguably more tradition and history and a larger loyal fan base as well- When UC played in the Sugar Bowl a few years back they had a really good following to New Orl. Cincinnati does really well attracting the not good enough for Notre Dame and OSU.

Not too long ago USC and UCLA had problems with their football programs and it didn't seem like SDSU capitalized on those misfortunes. Many of top players in the region went off to schools like Utah and Arizona.

My Post was not to dig on Cincy high school Players. What i was trying to say is, most high school players in Cincy would rather play for OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin Ect... Cincinnati University, like SDSU is more of a fall back School. Only a Few Kids aspire to go to these Schools but that seems to be changing at SDSU.

I see SDSU Football going 11-1 this year and getting a major Bowl Bid, But they are not only taking SDSU for Football. The basketball team has dominated the Western part of United States for about 5 years now. Gonzaga and most of the teams from the Pac 12(except for Arizona) won't play even play us.
The most beautiful thing Ive seen my life time was, watching the SDSU Basketball team beat UCLA's Basketball team on their own Floor at Pauley Pavilion.
They have only got past the third round of the NCAA tournament Once in those five years.
They've never even won their conference tournament in any of those five years.
Is that your definition of Domination?

And I'm not making a dig at SDSU, but SDSU is a longshot. It has everything to do with facilities. When the school improves its facilities and climbs the MW ladder the chances of jumping ship to another conference will improve.

Let's not look past the fact that The Big XII may not want a west coast team. They could choose Houston which would offer the better option right in their own footprint. A team like Cincy outside of the normal footprint at least offers a closer rivalry like WVU-CINCY. They could go BYU- personally I think its a strange fit but I think they still offer a little more than SDSU.
