I think its all over as far as crime is concern, I notice Sacramento is really being hit a lot by crime which before you wouldn't hear about it as much but its like every day now something is happening... wow, thats sad....

Crime actually fell in the first quarter of '07.

In the same link, there are also articles on 2 shooting deaths, an armed robbery in Tierrasanta (of all places), schools locked down after shooting, carjacking/beating. On the newsblog page there are other articles that include another shooting and a stabbing.

First quarter is over, but looks like the second quarter has been getting hit.
