I understand what you're saying and concur completely.

I never said a landlord should "just take me in" on the basis of no credit or background check.
That stuff is fine......there are zero issues with me.

The other aspect "dating" is what I have experienced here and it is honest and women here do want that stereotyped New England business guy look which is not me.
I have no facade to uphold or front that needs to be taken down to get to know me.

I have GAD yes but I choose not to drink, not that I can't drink due to meds or anything.
Also, I don't want to meet a woman in the bar scene..........all set.....too iffy.

I do like museums, art shows, martial arts, coffee shops, yoga, hiking not mountain climbing, etc.
Those are the sources for me to pull from.

Hi, thought Id chime in - I am from MA and lived in SD for 5 years and I have to say though you will get chill eclectic women in pockets like North and South Park, there is a very high number especially in N County of the blonde fake body parts stepford wives types of women who are looking for men with serious $, so that they can become perfect soccer moms driving audi SUVs living in Del Mar in a few years time. I am sorry to tell you but I think women in New England are much more forgiving than the type you find most out in SD (this is an OC influence, I think, and SF is probably less like this, LA obviously much more). I am a (married) woman but this is what I observed living there as SD is highly looks/money conscious (less so education, worldliness) though of course you do have bhuddists, hippies, surfers, etc but make no mistake your salary matters to most women.
