We are moving from Colorado (military) this summer. Child's preschool/kindergarten director (Montessori, here) urged us to find a school that will challenge this gregarious, sharp, child's capabilities. I read postings in this forum asking similar questions, but they were posted in 2008, so I am hoping for new developments. We'll happen to live across from Los Altos Elementary, ranked 6 out of 10 in general. If anyone can direct me to where to find this information from the district itself, that'd be helpful as well. I'm aware that North County offers more, but the Lemon Grove house is where we need to be due to a very decent in-family price we can't ignore.
Thanks for whatever input you can provide!
