Would this still be accurate information as the article is a little outdated?

From San Diego's airport, take the 992 bus ($2.25) or a cab (about $10) the 5 minutes to Santa Fe train station and take the Trolley to the border to walk across.

Yes, it is still current. Remember to hop on the Blue Line Trolley that will say "San Ysidro/Tijuana" on the front.

TJ is the only reason to go to San Diego. SD is like any other USA city.

Stay away from Zona Norte LOL.

One of the big attractions of SD for me is Tijuana and the accessibility to the rest of Mexico via the TJ airport.
I don't however agree that "it is the only reason to go to San Diego" or that "SD is like any other US city."

My guess is that of all the tourists that visit SD from other parts of the nation/world, 80% don't even consider going South of the border.

Heck, at least 80% of locals have never been south of the border. Many have never even been CLOSE to the border.

Hope you had a nice 4th!

Double happiness then! Happy birthday!

My son's birthday is tomorrow. When he was a kid, we always told him we arranged the fireworks just for him.
