This past summer it hardly dropped below 65 which kept the evenings nice and warm.

Turn the heat back on. It was close to freezing on Laguna the last few nights. It's not supposed to be 33 degrees at night this time of year.

Definitely one of the advantages of being a little closer to the water. Now that we live in eastern Scripps Ranch, near all the open space, the mountains, and the Poway border, we have such low humidity compared to areas west of the 15 that we have rather cool evenings all summer except during extreme heat waves, and that's even though our afternoons are much warmer than west of the 15. we were averaging low temps around 61 or 62 most of the summer, which is definitely the coolest I've experienced in the three years at this location.

Yeah, it's definitely more humid along the coast during the summer. Even though it was warm today, I didn't break a sweat because of the low humidity.
