Well, Caltrans, which studies the problem and builds roads, claims otherwise.

SoCal is almost non stop bedroom communities, and yes, that very much includes San Diego county. Mass transit is impracticable for traveling very great distances especially if one is going from one bedroom community to another.
Completely false- both on the claim and Caltrans position, regardless of this specific attempt to justify one project.

Man....SD has seriously deghettoized in the last 10 years. Sure there’s still some rough areas and run down places, but give those spots another 10 years and they will all look cleaned up and pretty.

As SD continues to become outrageously expensive for most people, every hood in SD will gentrify, plain and simple unless those long time homeowners stay put forever.

That will be me. Not a difficult choice at all. I can get a cabin in Wyoming or a small house in SC for 100 grand cash and then snow bird back here 4 months a year at RV resorts for less than 1000 a month. Plus, that way I avoid all the BS based on CA like taxes and ridiculous laws. CA will eat my pension so it's a real easy choice to make.

Yes, why waste the money in CA when you can still enjoy what it has that is good and avoid what it has that is bad.

It's such a bummer that there are people out there who still believe in seperate but equal.

And in case you didn't know, the public school enrollment in this country turned Majority-Minority in 2014, so you can run but you can't hide.

Tell me about it. If you're gonna live here, become an American and integrate or go back to your country.

You do realize that immigrant families integrate over time, right? Nativists/racists really like to latch on to this as if this hasn't been the case for the 400+ years of American immigration. I mean, my German and Swedish ancestors never even bothered learning English in their old age. Didn't take long for my family to integrate though, despite living in a rural area surrounded by Swedish/German immigrants and still attending mass in Swedish/German. It happens, so enough with this idiotic rhetoric.

American culture is continuously evolving whether or not we want it to. Seems like you have a problem with America. Might I suggest moving back to your native land.

America is a country built by immigrants for immigrants. Heck, 7 out of the 39 founding fathers were immigrants and 1/3 of the first supreme court appointed by George Washington were immigrants.

You are very un-American.
