Is there any free parking anywhere near the convention center that is secure? Thanks!

There are several garages a few blocks away, or you can park in the MTS garages/lots at 12th & Imperial. But there is no free parking anywhere around the convention center at all. Parking in the SDCC is premium parking.

I would say fenced would be okay since it would only be for half a day.

There's plenty of parking, but it's just not free.
