And let the rain be a reminder to drive slower. My top speed on the I 5 this morning around 10 am was between 55-60 mph. Also, PLEASE turn on your Headlights when driving in the rainy weather.

Super heavy downpour around noon today in Serra Mesa. What a wild, wonderful sight (from a covered balcony)! Finally the air smells fresh. Snow level is supposed to be down to 4600 ft. The San Diego winter has arrived.

We recorded over an inch in our backyard rain gauge near downtown, I'm sure other areas got that and much more.

The canyons are singing!
