weather and water update:

I took my kayak out to La Jolla to fish today. Water temp was 59 degrees and air temp was 64. I left the water at about 1pm, obvious signs of another storm coming in.

Beautiful clear morning but a little chilly and got windy and cloudy as the day pressed on. Water was turned up and murky, from the prior storms I presume.

I think we are still about a month away from actual beach weather.

I'm leaving the Y aK covered up until this mess is over. Especially for fishing the bays. I heard there is a ton of bait right now? Yes?

Yes, bait popping all over the place, except on my sabiki. I ended up fishing sheephead for a little bit and came in.

Part of the reason I moved to SD a 5 weeks ago was because of this thread. You guys sold me a false bill of goods ☺️. I could have stayed in Seattle for this.
