I hear the IRS is letting you file a claim for a refund on sunshine tax this year.

Sunny and warm this weekend, the weeds are going to grow even taller. Time to tune up the weed-whacker.

Maybe. From NOAA: "Fair and warm weather will continue through early next week, but
medium-range models show a low pressure system moving in from the
west late next Wednesday into Thursday. This system could bring
another chance for precipitation but at this time the details are
still quite uncertain."

It snowed AGAIN last night? I think Mt Laguna hasn't been without snow on the ground for weeks, which is pretty unusual. I don't mind if it rains next week; in fact, it would be great for the environment. As long as we have warm weather and sunshine in between. It was the persistent cold and damp without warm breaks that was getting to everyone.

We've had the painted ladies migrating up the canyon and up over our deck and house in a steady stream for 3 days now. Such a little brain, such a strong instinct!
