I'm still trying to study up myself but I know for sure that I plan on voting YES on Prop 6 (the gas and car tax repeal). If we pass this, California voters will get to vote on all future gas and car taxes and prevent the legislature from reaching into our pockets without our consent.

Don't forget, 2 ballots it takes 2 stamps. Thanks Govt for making sure no one understands that. Business as usual. One of the few things that should be free to do.... vote.

And it will be, starting in 2019, even to give you the *privilege* (not a right) to vote by mail. If you need free, go to your polling place on election day or go to county offices to vote early.

There is already enough over-entitlement in the world. Please don't add to it.

Are you sure about this? I've received two ballot cards and one return envelope.

If you need free, take your mail ballot to any of numerous libraries starting October 29 and drop it off. https://www.sdvote.com/content/dam/r...2018_FINAL.pdf

I fill out my ballot at home, and then drop it off at a polling place on voting day. No stamp required, no waiting in line, and I get a "I voted" sticker. Win!

I mean, it does say "additional postage may be required" on the envelope where you put the stamps, which was *more* than enough for me to say "hm, there's two ballots in here, I should check to see if I need another stamp" so....
