I'm staying in San Diego. I will be heading to Temecula tomorrow. Initially, I was going to use uber, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a driver who will be willing to drive the long distance?

What are the other alternatives.. or should I just try out uber??

Buses give me a headache. I guess I'll have to go with uber, if there are no other options.

I took a Greyhound once in my life when I was 18 years old. I sat next to an ex con who got released early and told me he would seriously harm his wife if he found her cheating when he got home. He was a really scary dude. So I'm not sure I'd recommend the Greyhound experience to anyone.

How else would you ever get a story like this. I sat next to one who just got out of Folsom coming back from Sacramento as a teenager. He bummed all my cigarettes while telling me crazy stories.

For $23 you can't sit on a bus for 1 1/2 hours? You may be have a big problem finding an Uber/Lyft to take you to Temecula, because it's highly unlikely that they'll be able to pick up a fare going back to San Diego.

Not many other options, the trains are mostly along the coast. Why is it that the bus service in the US has a terrible reputation.

I would check out Craigslist rideshare section and post an ad for a ride towards Vegas and finalize a pit stop close to your destination, then get an lyfT

She's going tomorrow, so I don't think there's time for that.
