Im looking to move to Ramona and are looking into buying a house in the SDCE housing area. Can someone tell me about the pros and cons of having a HOA. also the water district?

Living in an HOA property has lots of pros and cons. Too long for this post.

Did you know that Ramona was once known as the "Turkey Capital of the World?" And we're talking real turkeys... not politicians.

I played San Vicente golf course last week and there were wild turkeys wandering the course.

Cruitr, thanks for the link about the HOAs I have already seen that website before I guess what I m trying to ask is some feedback on this particular HOA. Are you pleased with how things are run? Any negative sides to it? Are the rules enforced? Any area better than others (like it is in most towns)?
