I live in PQ and the amount of neglected lawns is ridiculous. Granted, I'm not in favor of high HOA costs or strict rules so I'm fine with it if my neighbors want to look like dirt bags. It makes my lawn/landscaping look that much better.

But at the same timey...if an owner or landlord/tenant can't maintain a decent looking front yard, shame on them. Sell the home or move if you can't afford to spend a little time or money on making the front of your house not look like crap.

And after watching the video above, I'd much rather prefer someone fostering a 'natural' looking landscape vs. no landscape at all (dead grass, dirt or all stone yards).

I still have a pretty green setup in the back and front and we've learned what we can do to add color without a lot of water. We still have a tiny patch of lawn that we rip out and replace every few years because of the crabgrass that takes over so easily.
