I thought you didn’t have to wear a mask while you were exercising.

Per San Diego County:
"In general, you must wear face coverings anywhere you come within six feet of others. That includes:
Waiting in line to go inside a store.
Shopping in a store.
Picking up food at a restaurant.
Waiting for or riding on public transportation.
Riding in a taxi or other ride service vehicle.
Seeking health care.
Going into facilities allowed to stay open.
Working an essential job that interacts with the public."

I didn't think it was required (just saw the post above), but 24 Hour in UTC has been "requesting" it to "help them stay open". And most people have been doing it, although a few were not wearing it properly. I have to be honest, it is really hard to keep it on while working out. Every now and again I have to pull it down to take a good breath of fresh air, but pull it up again for my exhale.

The county website says this:

When they're not required
Face coverings are not required:

Swimming, walking, hiking, bicycling or running by yourself or with household members.
You should have a face covering ready and wear it if you come within six feet of other people.

So it seems that people are required to have masks in gyms. It’s outside exercising that they’re not required.

I'm waiting for Crunch at University Square to open so that I can join. Then I can go in the morning before work.

People got so so angry when I forcibly and responsibly advocated this very statement for months and months in prior dated posts

But weren’t you saying that you had to have a mask on when you exercised outside? I can’t remember.
